"A prime example of a miracle worker is Pollyanna. The ego knows this, which is why she is constantly invalidated in this culture. She walked into a situation where everyone had been in a nasty mood for years. She chose not to see the nastiness. She had faith in what lay beyond it. She extended her perception beyond what her physical senses revealed to her, to what her heart knew to be true about every human being. It didn’t matter how anyone behaved. Pollyanna had faith in the love she knew existed behind anyone’s fear, and thus she invoked their love into expression. She exercised the power of forgiveness. Within a short time, everyone was nice and everyone was happy!" --Marianne Williamson
"Forgiveness is the choice to SEE PEOPLE AS THEY ARE NOW. When we are angry at people, we are angry because of something they said or did BEFORE THIS MOMENT. But what people said or did is not who they are [NOW/CURRENTLY...IT'S WHAT THEY WERE IN THE PAST]. Relationships are reborn as we let go perceptions of our brother’s past. ‘By bringing the past into the present, we create a future just like the past.’ By letting the past go, we make room for miracles." --Marianne Williamson (emphasis and other words added)

"When we’re truly honest with ourselves, our problem is not that opportunities for success haven’t appeared. We are given plenty of opportunities, but we tend to undermine them. Our conflicted energies sabotage everything. To ask for another relationship, or another job, is not particularly helpful if we’re going to show up in the new situation exactly as we showed up in the last one. Until we’re ...healed of our internal demons, our fearful mental habits, we will turn every situation into the same painful drama as the one before. Everything we do is infused with the energy with which we do it. If we’re frantic, life will be frantic. If we’re peaceful, life will be peaceful. And so our goal in any situation becomes inner peace. Our internal state determines our experience of our lives; our experiences do not determine our internal state." --Marianne Williamson
"Thirty-five thousand people a day die of hunger on earth, and there’s no dearth of food. The question is not, “What kind of God would let children starve?” but rather, “What kind of people let children starve?” --Marianne Williamson
"The purpose of our lives is to give birth to the best which is within us." --Marianne Williamson

Positive Assumptions
Here's a challenge for us all....
The next time you are with someone or see someone and they say or do something and you IMMEDIATELY "assume" the worst, or something negative.....ask yourself WHY YOU ASSUMED THE NEGATIVE???? someone looks at you strange and you think "Boy, they hate me." WHY do you assume that???? Is it possible that their "look" was positive? some involuntary facial thing? a response to something or someone other than you? some other explanation OTHER than negative? WHY DO WE ASSUME? WHY, when we assume, is it NEGATIVE???? What is the risk, if any, to ASSUME POSITIVITY???????

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest
fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness,
that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous,
talented, and fabulous? Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God.
Your playing small doesn't serve the world. There's nothing enlightened about
shrinking so that other people won't feel insecure around you. We are all meant
to shine, as children do. We are born to make manifest the glory of God that is
within us. It's not just in some of us, it's in everyone. And as we let our own
light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we
are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates
others.” --Marianne Williamson

Your Power
YOU have the POWER, the CAPACITY, the ABILITY to change your THOUGHTS and BELIEFS and your REACTIONS to people and things. YOU HAVE CHOICES
Did you ever notice that you have the power and capacity to CHANGE YOUR THOUGHTS in a instant! Think about it....as you read this message you are not thinking of other things....if I say...think of an Elephant in a swiming pool...what happens.....you think of an Elephant in a swiming pool......so IF you have that power and capacity....CHOOSE THE POSITIVE THOUGHTS. When a negative one comes in....choose a positive one to replace the negative. You can't think of two things at the same time....CHOOSE THE POSITIVE! Keep at it until it becomes so natural you don't even know what a negative thought is.
HEY THERE! .....
Do you really realize just how powerful and influential you are?
Do you????
In any given moment YOU affect at least one other person!!!!....
He/she in turn affects at least one other person and so forth.
As a result, for example, your smile today and/or act of kindness and/or words of encouragement could bring about a HUGE change in the universe...
YES! YOU ARE just that powerful.
Please...Make each moment count and spread POSITIVITY for yourself and for the universe!!!
Beliefs, Thoughts & Choices
1. What do you BELIEVE?
2. Realize the power of your BELIEFS
3. What do you THINK?
4. Realize the power of your THOUGHTS
5. What do you CHOOSE?
6. Realize the power of your CHOICES
Your Choices
YOU have the POWER, the CAPACITY, the ABILITY to change your THOUGHTS and BELIEFS and your REACTIONS to people and things. YOU HAVE CHOICES
"You can have anything you want if you are willing to give up the belief that you can't have it". - Robert Anthony
Anything is Possible
As you "think" about your life
and your being and ALL that you are....ask yourself "What do I want?"
Realize that ANYTHING is possible. Remove the doubt, the skepticism, the
denial...YOU have the power to CHANGE your circumstance(s).....Break down your
goals into tiny, manageable steps and the DO them...ONE AT A TIME...Take that
first step...it's small but significant...you CAN do it. Remove the doubt, the
skepticism, the denial...YOU CAN...YOU MUST....YOU WILL.
Dream....Believe....Achieve!

I'm reading Jill Bolte Taylor's "My Stroke of Insight" If you have not read this book yet, I highly recommend it. She is a neuroanatomist (brain specialist) who at the age of 37 experienced a significant stroke to her left hemisphere (left side of her brain). From the moment it began she saw its POSITIVE side and was amazed at what was happening to her and what she was experienced. As she recovered she continued this POSITIVE perspective and her recovery took 8 years! From that she has learned and shows us that we each have the CAPACITY and POWER to CHANGE OUR THOUGHTS.....WE HAVE CHOICES as to what to think and how to BE. Great inspirational book.

Rose Colored Glasses
How many of you out there walk around with
"dark, gloomy, negative" glasses...you know the ones that cloud your
vision and show you only the negative, the bad stuff in the world...put a dark
vision to all that you see? Take them off.....burn 'em. Get out your "Rose
Colored Glasses" and put them on instead. See the world from a more
POSITIVE view....it will paint your world in a POSITIVE "rose
colored" light and give you that new perspective.

“Forgiveness is not about forgetting. It is about letting go of another person's throat......Forgiveness does not create a relationship. Unless people speak the truth about what they have done and change their mind and behavior, a relationship of trust is not possible. When you forgive someone you certainly release them from judgment, but without true change, no real relationship can be established.........Forgiveness in no way requires that you trust the one you forgive. But should they finally confess and repent, you will discover a miracle in your own heart that allows you to reach out and begin to build between you a bridge of reconciliation.........Forgiveness does not excuse anything.........You may have to declare your forgiveness a hundred times the first day and the second day, but the third day will be less and each day after, until one day you will realize that you have forgiven completely. And then one day you will pray for his wholeness......” --William P. Young (The Shack)
